This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit instant-socialvideo.com (the "Site") or use our video production and editing services (the "Services"), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site or Services, you agree to this policy. This policy is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and business name when you fill out a form, schedule a call, or contact us.

  • Account and order information — login credentials, plan selection, billing address, and order details when you join or subscribe.

  • Payment information — collected and processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

  • Content you submit — video footage, images, audio, logos, brand assets, and other materials you upload for editing, along with your instructions and feedback.

  • Communications — emails, text messages, call notes, and messages you exchange with our team.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Analytics and advertising data — we may use analytics tools and advertising pixels (such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel) that collect information about your visit to measure Site performance and the effectiveness of our marketing.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Services — including producing, editing, and delivering your videos;

  • Process payments, manage subscriptions and automatic renewals, and send billing notices;

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule and conduct calls;

  • Send service and account communications (such as delivery notifications, billing notices, and onboarding messages);

  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in, which you can stop at any time;

  • Operate, analyze, personalize, and improve the Site and Services;

  • Maintain internal records, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — such as payment processors, website hosting, scheduling tools, email and text messaging platforms, cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive for deliverables), stock media providers, analytics providers, and customer management tools — and only as needed to perform their services;

  • Professional advisors (such as accountants or attorneys) where necessary;

  • Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public;

  • A successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and opt in to text messages from Instant Social, we may send you messages about your account, orders, deliverables, scheduling, and — only where you have consented — promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out of marketing texts does not stop essential service messages (such as billing or delivery notifications), which you can stop by closing your account. Your SMS consent is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Email Communications

If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing hello@instant-socialvideo.com. We will still send transactional emails related to your account, billing, and deliverables while you remain a customer.

6. Cookies & Tracking Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them; some Site features may not work properly without them. Additional choices:

  • Google Analytics — opt out via Google's browser opt-out tool (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout);

  • Meta and other ad pixels — manage ad personalization in your social platform's ad preference settings;

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) — where required by applicable law, we honor GPC browser signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Client footage and project files are retained for a reasonable period after project completion, after which they may be deleted — we recommend keeping your own copies of all original footage and final deliverables. Billing records are retained as required by law.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting and limiting access to team members who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights under applicable US state privacy laws:

  • Access / know — confirm whether we process your personal information and receive a copy of it;

  • Correction — correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Deletion — request deletion of personal information we hold about you;

  • Portability — receive your information in a portable, usable format;

  • Opt out — opt out of targeted advertising, any sale of personal information, and certain profiling (we do not sell personal information);

  • Appeal — appeal a decision we make on a privacy request;

  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

As a courtesy, we extend these request rights to all users regardless of state. To make a request, email hello@instant-socialvideo.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity (typically by confirming control of the email or phone number on file) and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links & Platforms

The Site may link to third-party websites and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review. Content we deliver that you publish to social platforms is governed by those platforms' terms and privacy policies once published.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated to active customers by email. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
